Bouchon
A modular bench system
Bouchon is a modular bench/stool system which comprises a plywood seat, detachable hollow aluminium legs and single or double cork “bouchons” which allow the user to attach and remove different upholstered seat pads easily.
The system is made up of a range of different elements such as a square stool and a rectangular bench, which can be connected in various configurations using a connector. This allows the range to be both versatile for different settings, and flexible for different occasions.
All the components that make up the system can be dismantled for easy manufacture, transportation, relocation, reconfiguration and eventually for easy recycling.
